Lovell has been the most integral part of the American Legion Baseball system since its inception in the early 1980's. He is also Director of Facilities for Medicine Hat Little League Baseball. Head Coach: Lyall Foran
After spending the past two years as an assistant coach with the Moose Monarchs, Lyall Foran returns to Medicine Hat as the Head Coach. Foran, a native of Ladner, B.C. spent four seasons as a player and assistant coach with Norfolk State University. Prior to that, he began his college career at Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Lyall was drafted in the 46th round of the 2003 Major League Baseball draft by the Atlanta Braves.

Assistant Coach: Cam Rittinger Cam returns for his second season as a coach with the local American Legion program. Last summer, Rittinger was an assistant coach with the Knights, but this year moves up to the Monarchs. Cam played college ball in Texas and Kansas before returning home to Medicine Hat to take a teaching position. Rittinger is a graduate of both the Medicine Hat Little League and Big League programs. This past spring, Cam was the head coach of the Medicine Hat High School Mohawks. |
